What I Know After Years in Other People's Houses

I clean houses from Nederland to Evergreen, writing about mountain-home cleaning, vacation rentals, and what actually works where cell service dies. I’ve seen what works. What doesn’t. What customers notice and what they don’t.
These are the things I write down. Hard water on shower doors. Ash in vents after fire season. Why the same rag can’t touch a bathroom and a kitchen. The questions I wish homeowners asked before they hired anyone.
Some of this is about cleaning. Some of it is about mountain living. All of it is about paying attention to detail.

Meet Sandra Rose: Your Expert in All Things Cleaning

I’m a third-generation cleaner. My grandmother cleaned houses. My mother cleaned houses. I grew up watching both of them, and they taught me early that clean is different from tidy.

I started in home healthcare. I noticed the people who healed faster had something in common. Their spaces were actually clean. Not tidy. Clean. That stuck with me.

I clean houses from Nederland to Evergreen. I’m based in the Dory Lakes area and serve nearby mountain communities. Weekly upkeep. Short-term rental turnover. Move-out deep cleans.

When I’m not cleaning I’m gardening. Making things from clay. Hiking with my family and our dog. Being outside reminds me why I don’t put anything in your house that I wouldn’t use in mine.

This work supports my kids. Keeps me moving. Lets me do something I actually believe in.
